2023/24 Impact Report
The main purpose of this report is to provide a thorough evaluation of the impact of LUL’s programme during 2023/24, using data from our annual survey responses collected from LUL Mentees and teachers in partner schools. The evaluation examined a range of factors, including core skills, enjoyment of learning, confidence, school attendance, and overall attitudes towards education.
Survey responses from Mentees indicated significant improvements in various core skills:
A large majority (87%) of Mentees stated that LUL made them more likely to attend school on days when they had mentoring sessions.
A significant proportion (81%) of Mentees expressed a more positive attitude towards learning as a result of their involvement with LUL.
Feedback from teachers highlighted considerable positive changes in Mentees’ attitudes towards learning (91%), increased confidence among Mentees (91%), and more positive engagement with school since joining LUL (85%).
